Introducing DBT for You -
DBTeens and DBTwenties

DBT with Beth has “closed” as of September 2021, and has become something bigger, better, and ultimately will serve more young people in need of DBT services. Two new programs under a new service called DBT for You offers “DBTeens” and "DBTwenties", both created and led by Beth Salvi-Hudgins, have replaced services previously provided by DBT with Beth. In these two new programs, Beth is leading a team of therapists and skills coaches to provide DBT services throughout all of New Hampshire and Maine through online services.

DBTeens NH is a 12-week intensive outpatient telemental health treatment program for youth ages 12-20. DBTwenties, also a 12-week intensive outpatient telemental health program, is for young adults, ages 18-25. Our experienced staff is committed to offering an innovative treatment option to young people in New Hampshire. We recognize that many teens need more service per week than an individual therapy session, yet don’t require psychiatric hospitalization. DBTeens and DBTwenties offer up to 13 hours per week of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) treatment online AT HOME.

Our 12-week program is aimed at helping teens and young adults learn how to deal with dangerous action urges or thoughts, improve awareness of their own needs and emotions, better regulate emotions and moods, and express themselves more effectively when communicating with other people.

DBTeens and DBTwenties offer a comprehensive DBT course of treatment plus extras. Many teens and young adults struggle with using coping skills taught in individual and group sessions. We eliminate that problem by offering 3-4 opportunities per day to practice skill usage with the group or individually. DBTeens provides parents or an adult partner with their own skills coach who can help the adults in a teen’s life better understand their teen’s emotional needs and become more skilled responders to their child.
